Processor: Any processor of the last several years should be usable.
Operating System: Windows XP or Vista.
Memory (RAM): 512MB minimum (1GB + preferred)

Mac
Processor: G4 or Intel
Operating System: Mac OSX
Memory (RAM): 512MB minimum (1GB + preferred)

Other Requirements

Display
We suggest a monitor displaying at minimum 1024 x 768 pixels. You may also find it helpful to have a high-resolution display while developing your presentations.

Audio
If you want to include audio in your presentations you computer will, of course, need to be able to record and playback.

Hardware
If you are going to make the digital assets yourself you will probably need a digital camera, video recorder, scanner, microphone and various other bits of kit. If your budget doesn't stretch this far then plan your project so that all the similar work, say, your video recording, gets done at the same time, then beg or borrow the equipment you need and turn it around as quickly as you can.

Software
The Conveyor interface has been designed to work with the Firefox v.3 browser. This is available for free download at http://www.mozilla.com

You will need software to edit your digital assets, for example, to crop images or adjust sound recordings. See our Useful Software section for advice.

File Formats

Files must have standard extensions (.jpg etc) or they cannot be used by the software. Conveyor v.2 will work with the following formats:

Image
- JPEG (.jpg)
- GIF (.gif)
- PNG (.png)
Note: image files should be created at 72 dpi.

Sound
- MP3 (.mp3)

Video
- QuickTime (.mov)
- Windows Media (.wmv)
